If you run or work for an accountancy or tax advisory firm I can offer specialist support. I can either advise your clients directly or provide assistance straight to you. For many firms, I just provide a sounding board.  Areas I can advise professional firms on include:

  • VAT Recovery Questions
  • VAT Liability Questions
  • Place of Supply Questions
  • VAT disputes and appeals
  • Single/Multiple Supply Questions

I am happy to meet your clients on a no-obligation basis to see if I can help them. Depending upon where you are based this can be undertaken for free.

Training

I can arrange to visit you periodically throughout the year to tell you and your staff about new opportunities. Alternatively, I can prepare training on specific subjects such as property VAT or charities.

I can also provide training to your clients if they need it.

Fee options

Ideally, I will try and offer a fixed fee for work based on predicted levels of correspondence and the likely complexity of the advice.

I can also offer an hourly rate if that is preferred. This is often the best arrangement if you want a helpline. In the right circumstances, I can offer a contingent fee based on VAT savings. I understand that clients do not have budgets for VAT advice and will aim for a fee structure that suits you.
